WHAT IS IT?

The Thomography or TAC, is an exploration of X rays that produces detailed images of axial cuts of the body.

Instead of obtaining an image like the conventional x-ray the TAC obtains multiples images to rotate around the body. One computer combines all this images in one final image that represents a cut from the body like if it is a slice.

This machine creates multiples images in slices, (cuts) from the part of the body that is being studied.
